Groundbreaking Moment In My Career

In 2016, I represented a man charged with six counts of attempted murder.

He was facing a life sentence. We had no witnesses to call and little evidence pointing to his innocence.

Winning the trial could only be achieved by attacking the prosecution’s seemingly strong case. And that’s exactly what I did. Against all odds, we got a not guilty verdict across the board. The win is especially sweet because Lenard has since turned his life around, co-founded a well-known nonprofit, and is a pillar of the Fargo-Moorhead community. He truly made the most of his second chance, and I’m so proud of him.
