Federal Government Rebuked by Judge in Nevada Ranch Case

By January 10, 2018 No Comments

A judge has dismissed a federal case against the Bundy ranch family of Nevada, reports Reason.com. Judge Gloria Navarro declared “flagrant prosecutorial misconduct,” including “withholding potentially exculpatory evidence” from defense counsel. Her dismissal prevents the government from attempting to try the case again. Among the evidence the prosecution withheld are documents about government surveillance at the ranch and “records about the presence of government snipers” there.
